When relocating the battery to the rear, consider the run of cable between the battery and the location at which the stock battery used to connect in the front of the vehicle. What would happen if that cable were to become shorted somewhere along its run? Correct – it will burn. Nothing spells disaster to a prized vehicle faster than an electrical fire that starts as a result of such a scenario.
Every battery relocation kit we offer includes electrical protection for each cable that runs the length of the vehicle – we won’t sell them any other way! In addition, we include the absolute highest quality cable and hardware that you’ll find at any price. Our 1/0 AWG cable has 4,704 strands and our 2 AWG cable has 2,940 strands. Both meet the AWG specification, are extremely flexible, are Pure OFC Copper, and tinned for corrosion resistance. Finally, our kits:

- require only common hand tools to install them

As we're not a big fan of using the stud on the starter as a common point of power, our relocation kits include a slick power distribution block that mounts conveniently under the hood. This not only simplifies the installation, but provides an easy location to access power after the kit has been installed.
We recommend our 1/0 AWG Kit for any vehicle with high compression, those with superchargers, or those that require extended cranking time to start. Our 2 AWG Kit can be used successfully in all other applications.
